    When Marika from Ukraine completed a course for category B in a driving school from Warsaw, she decided to take the exam in the capital WORD. She thought she knew how to do it.

    First, she went to the Info-Car portal, where she wanted to make a record. This is where she suffered her first shock. Then she checked in to the Quick Driving app, with which she intended to get an earlier date of the practical exam. She was again under a shock…

    It turned out that both portals are suspended. This is due to the fact that a new page for registration for the exam was created, and thus different rules apply. This page is Info Driver.

    “Yes, ma’am, we have a revolution in the records… From now on, you have two options to register for the WORD exam: either on the spot in the Student Service Office, or via the Internet using the Info-Driver. Unfortunately, but the latter option is problematic, because we will register either using the eDO App, which requires a document with a chip, or through the mCitizen application, which not everyone has… Do you have such a document with a chip?

    This application has the function of confirming identity by using facial biometrics. It can be used by holders of e-proof with an electronic layer or a passport with a chip.

    At any time and for free, we can exchange the current evidence for e-proof with a chip. On the other hand, a biometric passport, containing a chip with data on the image of the face or fingerprints, is widely honored and issued in more than 180 countries around the world.

    The certified biometric technology used verifies whether the document with the electronic layer is important and true. This assessment is used by a three-dimensional image of the face recorded on the chip, which is verified with an accuracy of 99.99995%.

    So far, the identity confirmation in the application has been carried out using a four-digit PIN code, which could be given when receiving an ID card at the office. If, on the other hand, this number has not been indicated to us, we have forgotten it or use a passport for registration, to which a PIN code is not assigned, then this new solution will prove useful.

    When you select the eDO App as an identity verification option on the Info-Driver website, then the QR code and numeric code will appear. Let’s scan it or rewrite this number.

    Next, the application will take us to the confirmation method selection screen. Here, in addition to the PIN number option, we also have a biometric for which an e-proof or residence card is needed (with an electronic layer). As for passports, the electronic layer does not contain Polish characters on behalf of and surname, therefore the PKK, in which there are Polish characters in the name and surname, cannot associate with the User.

    If you are a foreigner living in Poland and have a residence card (e.g. a temporary residence permit, permanent residence permit or a long-term EU resident), the eDO App can read its electronic layer via the NFC module on your phone. Then we scan the MRZ area from the passport (it is located at the bottom of the page with a photo) or we prescribe the CAN number from the e-proof.

    Now we apply the document to the NFC antenna in the smartphone. After the data transfer, the front camera will start and we will see your smiling face on the screen. Once we’ve confirmed our readiness, the app will produce a three-dimensional facial scan. If all goes unhindered, the verification will be successful.

    How to log in via the mCitizen app? The driving school from Warsaw indicates the second option of online registration

    If you want to log in to the mCitizen app on your smartphone, we must first download it from the App Store or Google Play.

    • First, we have to accept the regulations, then choose the method of login: Profile Trusted (here we need a login and password or access via the bank) or e-Proof (with the help of an ID card with an electronic layer and an NFC reader in a smartphone).
    • Once we have created a profile (we will set the PIN code and biometric protection), the next logins on the smartphone will take place using this PIN or fingerprint or facial scan.

    If you want to log in on your computer through your browser, the process is a little different…

    • When we choose the login.gov.pl portal as a verification option on the Info-Driver website, the mOwytel application will be proposed to us as the recommended way of logging in.
    • With its help, we will scan the QR code from the computer screen. To do this, we need to log in to the mCitizen application on your smartphone, where in the bottom menu you will select the “QR code” button.
    • In order to confirm our identity, we must use either e-proof or a temporary protection document (chip). If you choose the first option, you will need an e-proof with an electronic layer and a PIN code for it.
    • Next, click the “Scan QR Code” button on your phone and you will start automatically reading with this QR code app from the screen.
    • If we want to go to the service, we need to select the “Share data” button in the application…

    Important! In case we care about the earlier date, we should look at the site with records every 2-3 days to change the reservation to a better one. It is often the case that the examiner returns from the disease, and then suddenly additional dates appear. However, if we sign up in person in the window, we cannot change the date in the app.

    What login documents and methods will be good for foreigners?

    In the case of foreigners, the key is whether they have a Polish PESEL number and what kind of residence or identity document they have:

    • First of all, let’s prepare a PKK number and ID card or passport.

    It was a second-hand car. It had a policy that Andrew had prescribed for himself. The boy knew full well that if the car did not have insurance, he would have to include it the same day before going on the road.

    The day of his wedding and wedding was approaching, so the young driver wanted to take his beloved for the honeymoon on a journey in his own car. He booked hotels and planned the entire route to visit the beautiful corners of Poland.

    Soon Andrej and Marta took Polish roads to a dream rest just for two. The wife was delighted with the organization of the trip and the fact that they had a great time.

    They barely returned home, a letter was waiting for them in the box. Unfortunately, but these were not wishes for the opportunity to enter a new way of life. First he was read by his husband, and then by the wife who carried herself crying.

Then the UFG sanctions will fall on us.
    • Fifthly, the most common reason for incurring a penalty with UFG is the situation related to the purchase of a used car. Well, if this car does not have motor insurance, the same day before going on the road we have to buy them. If it has, we can either say it and make new ones, or rewrite it on ourselves already existing. In the latter case, there may be a problem, because the agreement adopted in this way will not be extended automatically: we must remember to resume it ourselves, otherwise the UFG will track us down and give us a high mandate.

It is important here that the sum of this variant is sufficiently high, because its value counts as a percentage of the damage to health. Thanks to it, we will get financial assistance in connection with injuries suffered during an accident or road traffic collision or when getting off or getting in the car. In this way, the funds received will be allocated to treatment, rehabilitation or purchase of medical equipment.
    • Autocasco (AC). Here we will receive financial protection in case of damage to the car due to our fault, its theft or destruction due to the action of the elements. We can both choose a reduced variant (for example, the theft insurance itself, which can be obtained at a good price to the liability policy) or full, covering all possibilities.
    • Protection of the glass. If the insertion of windows in our car involves a large expense, then it is worth buying this variant of safety. However, if the exchange costs 200 zł, and this protection option is at the price of 150 zł, then it does not make sense.
